POKÉMON TCG
We enjoy a close relationship with all aspects of the Pokemon Trading Card Game brand, working on hero films (animation and live action), social campaigns and paid media rollout. Here are just a few highlights from that portfolio.
Mega Evolution: Mega Melee
To launch the new series of Mega Evolution across the whole brand, we worked up an idea that showed off 10 Mega Evolved characters and their 10 new cards. We also had to design the campaign in such a way that one core animation could produce a 45s version (see left), a 30s, a 20s, five different 15s cutdowns, a 10s and a 6s. The 30s spot and some of the imagery was used in experiential events all around the world including London Westfield’s pop-up Mega Maze and LA’s Mega Discovery.

Classified
For the return of fan favourite villains, Team Rocket, we built a unique spot which imagined an obsessed fan becoming seduced by the dark side and embracing their inner baddie.

The hero animation was supported by a range of other assets including Spotify collateral (left) and YouTube/Connected TV targeted ads (right).
Lightning and Dragons
Here four fan favourite characters face off in two epic battles, on land and in the sky, to launch the expansion pack Surging Sparks.
Prelude to Light
Here we celebrate the arrival of the stunning Stellar Tera characters into the TCG, in the launch ad for the expansion Stellar Crown.

A dazzling hero film to support the launch of a prominent new Scarlet & Violet expansion pack for the game.

Four mischievous characters hack the feed of our previous Hero animation and take over transmission…
The Big Bang
We created a dramatic mid-air showdown between two dragons; one ancient, one from the future, one black and one white.

Crown Zenith
For the final release in the Sword & Shield series we tried to capture the feeling of a collector finally filling their card binder.
SV 151
To celebrate a special release featuring all the original 151 Pokemon, we produced a series of record-breaking social content across all channels. To date these have amassed more than 30 million views.
